Matter Benchmark Reports: Know up front if there's insufficient data to run a report

Matter Benchmark Reports is the WestlawNext tool that provides unparalleled insights into the law firm market. You can tailor your reports using a variety of filters, including matter of law, area of practice, geographic region, and firm size.

However, for certain combinations of filters, the available data may be insufficient to generate a report, e.g., an area of law not widely practiced for a given matter type. In those situations, a recent enhancement will save you time: On the Report Builder, check boxes for filters that would result in an "insufficient data" message are greyed out, i.e., before you try to generate a report.
